Welcome 2012

New old book about dollmaking

The mailman had a surprise for me today! I had totally forgot that I had ordered a book on Amazon a while ago. I paid almost nothing for it, only the shipping, wich is always high when one lives in Denmark.
This old book from 1949 is filled with amazing pictures of old dolls, and an old sketch made on a piece of paper. I wonder who made it? This is why I love old books. I imagine a doll artist used the patterns for her art! I have more books coming. Can´t wait to see them.
Oh, by the way, here is the link for my supplier:

Unloved artdoll?

Please welcome "RubberDuck"!
He is a 20" artdoll made from polymer clay and paperclay.
He used to be a rubber duck, but didn´t think anyone would love him, so he changed into another bird.
He was made for my brother as a christmas present this year.

I received nice photo frame settings today

I just love theese! I like to sculpt tiny faces.
They are so fun to make, and I can´t wait until I´ve finished them with washes and a little hat.

Theese new silver tone frames will be so much fun!
